I became a Data Engineer because of the struggle my peers and I always faced when looking for good data. Whether it was for our machine learning projects at UC Davis or for case competitions in business school at USC, good data is hard to find.

Data Privacy is the first thing I consider when starting a data project. I ask myself, how can I get the job done while protecting the user's data? Keeping data governance in mind as I develop solutions, I always focus on the most simple solution that gets the team to value quickly and realiably. We can always find a complex solution. Finding a simple solution is the challenge.
